2010 Summer Film Series at the Baltimore Food and Faith Project
7PM - 9PM
The Baltimore Food and Faith Project, a program of the Johns Hopkins University Center for a Livable Future, is proud to present the second film event of its 2010 Summer Film Series.
We will be showing two short documentaries:
-"The Future of Food" offers an in-depth look into the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled grocery store shelves (Excerpts will be shown).
-"The Dying Fields" explores how GE cotton developed in the U.S. and grown in India have caused an economic crisis for thousands of farmers in India, resulting in frequent suicides when they are unable to pay their debts.
Please join us on Thursday, July 15th at 7:00 PM at the Episcopal Cathedral of the Incarnation (4 East University Pkwy, Baltimore 21218) as we watch these two films and enjoy some locally grown popcorn.
